lipstick presents a man haunted by his mother’s reflection as he confronts gender, trauma, and self-affirmation through immersive storytelling, live music, and raw vulnerability.
Based on a story by acclaimed Peruvian author Linda Morales Caballero, and adapted and performed by Edu Díaz, lipstick unfolds like a fever dream in which the intimate becomes profoundly radical.

lisptick premiered in Spanish (LABIAL) at the Hispanic Federation’s FuerzaFest 2025, where it received the Outstanding Achievement Award for its bold and emotional storytelling. A 40-minute extended version in English was presented at Frenzy Fest 2025 at El Barrio’s Artspace PS109, deepening the exploration of identity, memory, and desire.
lisptick will premiere its full-length version at the 2026 NYC Fringe.
lisptick se estrenó en español (LABIAL) en el FUERZAfest 2025 (Hispanic Federation), donde recibió el Outstanding Achievement Award por su propuesta escénica audaz y emotiva. Una versión de 40 minutos en inglés se presentó en el Frenzy Fest 2025, en El Barrio’s Artspace PS109, profundizando en la exploración de la identidad, la memoria y el deseo.
lisptick se estrenará en formato de 60 minutos en el NYC Fringe 2026.
